Every Amityville job gets scoped to the specific problem, not a generic checklist.
We test the treated sheathing afterward to confirm the surface came back to normal.
Blocked soffit vents or missing ridge ventilation disrupt the airflow that's supposed to keep an attic dry.
A shockingly common Amityville culprit: bathroom exhaust fans venting directly into the attic instead of outside through the roof or wall.
New insulation goes in only after the surface beneath it has been fully treated and verified.
We clean the whole affected zone, not just the most visibly stained rafters.
After treatment, we verify soffit-to-ridge airflow is actually working the way it's supposed to.
